Mizuno Color Tour Crowns Thanrada Piddorn

 

Hua Hin, Thailand - Thanrada Piddorn, a 23-year-old golfer from Bangkok

and the reigning Thai LPGA champion, has clinched the Mizuno Color Tour title.

The one-day tournament, offering a 100,000 baht prize purse, served as a warm-up

for the upcoming Singha-SAT Thai LPGA Masters 2024, which boasts a 4 million baht prize pool.

Piddorn, who had previously won a playoff in a Thai LPGA event, carded a 3-under 69

at the 6,296-yard, par-72 Hua Hin Golf Club to secure the victory. Following a par on

the 10th hole, she birdied holes 1, 6, and 7 to claim the trophy and a 15,000 baht prize.

Hyun Jung Bang from South Korea and Marvie Monsalve from the Philippines tied for

second place with a 1-under 71, earning 7,150 baht each. Phattaraporn Muanchoo and

Yosita Khawnuna shared fourth place at even par, taking home 6,100 baht apiece.

Qualifiers for the Singha-SAT Thai LPGA Masters 2024 Eight golfers have qualified for

the Singha-SAT Thai LPGA Masters 2024, a three-day tournament scheduled for September 19-21, through the Mizuno Color Tour. They are: Yosita Khawnuna, Sutthinee Ngamkham, Saranyaporn Lingmapisawat, Chophaka Jaengkit, Natai Abhichlati, Sasithorn Napaeng, Nilubol Panno, and Khemmintra Ngamlao (amateur).

Tournament Results:

  • 1st: Thanrada Piddorn (-3) - 15,000 baht
  • T2: Hyun Jung Bang (KOR), Marvie Monsalve (PHI) (-1) - 7,150 baht each
  • T4: Phattaraporn Muanchoo, Yosita Khawnuna (E) - 6,100 baht each
